~Morning Thoughts~

Good morning! May love and laughter find you! I am thinking of how I have evolved over the last few months. I dug deeper into my feelings. I came to realize that what had triggered me were things stemming from old fears and desires. Such as having others love me for who I am and feeling they did not. I protected many aspects of myself because of what I believed about myself. You can’t evolve as a balanced whole and be protecting who you are. The along came the realization I was aging. LOL I did not feel differently only the body has changed. After Thomas died things shifted because I thought a lot about what I wanted life without Thomas. I had been very well loved by him. Now I wanted life to be about me, my writing and art. This did not happen right away. Looking back, part of my thinking was fear based. We fear what we do not know, this is natural. The ol’ flight or fight kicks in. The minds messages to the body are chemical based, physical, mentally and emotionally drawn upon and so we get stuck in checking out how we “truly feel”. That for me was unbalanced, what my intuition told me, argued with myself.

My biggest worry was my hernia. Having a hernia in itself is very scary! I am glad to be at the point of healing. And I can continue to help myself there through what I eat so I am not as tired after blood loss. A bit of research on what kinds of foods to look at and I learned what will help. I find myself less tired now.

My body has been through a lot. I have always paid attention to my body. I’ve plenty of things to choose from without being physically active and risking the healing process. Time being physical is down the road. For now, I will simply embrace the day. Glad I can take care of myself and that my daughters take care of the things I should not be doing.

The fun thing is that this break is giving me time to read books for fun. I can work the business journal too. And I can work on a Shibui for a bit. The thing is not to strain the itchy, tender hernia as it heals. And I can catch up with friends and pen pals.

Best wishes to all. Pejj
