The Good Morning Sunshine Blog.
Good morning! I have been on a writing vacation by focusing in on my work in the studio itself. I am setting things up to teach Shibui at the Black Velvet Dance Studio as well as working on two other possibilities. In addition, I have two Shibui Found Image Art students. I also have an art collaboration which I am adding to the number of paintings needed for the project. Feeling very happy with my projects, and life at this time.
I do recommend somatic meditation. The Woman’s Circle I joined has given me lots of new friends and a great deal of insight and self-empowerment I had set aside. It is vital not to set aside intuition as well. There are many things that we do set aside that are very important for us to keep in the forefront of our minds. Everything begins with a thought, no matter if it is a positive or negative thought. You do not have to follow the thoughts that lead you away from your purpose. Too often we sidetrack ourselves by following a train of thought. Instead of looking at what we can do, instead we look at what we can’t do, diving into the why of that train of thinking. Stacking up those cons, the reasons why “that’s it!” The truest reality is not found by stacking up the pros and cons all day. The answer is not in stacking up those pros and cons, you have the answer and you can choose to go with it or not. The point is in the choosing. Will you find it is a happy or positive solution? Or does it lead to inaction? Inaction means unhappiness and a whole string of negative thought.
Why you feel as you do may not be what you think it is. This can be examined but it shouldn’t become an all-day thing to think about why you’re feeling as you are. The time invested in all day thinking you could be changing things up.
Changing the topic on the self is a great tool to achieve. Beleiving in yourself and in your words and actions is important to who you are!
Life is good! There are good people out there! Reach out to others so you’re not alone with your own thoughts. Take time to love who you are. What are those good things about who you are? Don’t live a life of negativeness. Don’t bring in what happens out in the world into your home.
You are not responsible for others who need to come to their own conclusions without you. Doing yourself comes first. Know that being yourself that’s encouraging to others. You’re the example without investing you time to fix things for other people who are on their own learning curve. They won’t learn if you’re doing the work for them. That’s their job. Somehow, we take on responsibility for others because we feel and want to be known as caring, loving people and we want to show it. However, that’s putting self-interest elsewhere rather than living your own life if we spend too much time involved in others and neglect ourselves or our families.
Best wishes! May love and laughter find you! Pejj
