Good morning! May your day be happy and bright.
This painting is by Wojciech Krupa, born in 1966, a Polish German artist known for his distinctive and richly textured oil pastels. His work explores nature is such a beautiful way! I am inspired. I like how pastels are impressionistic by nature. I fell in love with pastels myself when going to UMA & USM.I kept at them. They were not taught; they were simply an option to use for class. I ended up with fourteen images for my final exhibition much to my surprise! The mastery here is amazing and inspiring. You can feel the warmth of the early light here. The reflections captivating. It’s a magnificent pastel. I want to have my morning coffee here! That blue and touches of orange! Magical! Now I need to look this person up! This makes me want to dig out my own pastels despite what is happening in this place! And it would be therapeutic and sooth my soul.

This is one of mine, and oil pastel of my driveway when I had a cottage in Rhode Island. I did not like oil pastels for some time. It was a matter of learning how to use them. Titled: The driveway. Not a very interesting title.

This is titled: Morning light on water. by Pejj Nunes. 2025 An oil pastel. I am drawn to water and love the light which dances on the surface. I remember brooks I wanted to sit by that particular brook forever, watching for fish. I miss that. A mist do!
I’m not all about Shibui Found Image Art. I am going to take on a life immersed in art for the first time in my life! It is just me. This is what I need to keep in mind, especially right now as this place feels overwhelming as it is. I can master it! Putting the art first will help it all to fall into place because I will become within my element. It is a matter of mastering how I want my day to go.
Best wishes! May lots of love and laughter come your way. Pejj Nunes.
