~In the Studio & At The desk~

It’s in the studio and at the desk today. I had not climbed out of bed, but a bit of poetry came to me, so I wrote it down and of course these ideas bloom when I come back to them. I got ready for the day and have been in the studio working on a new Shibui where I am working in Biogeometry Signatures via design work. Lacy swirly thickened and thin lines made with black India Ink. It is a new type of Shibui. In finding that Shibui will work for the connect collaboration is inspiring me to see what there is about the process to express connections we have with each other and the world.

Tom was always giving me his approval with a thumbs up! Feeling I am on track with life. That is exciting! I function best when there is a lot to solve and plan out. Otherwise, time can escape me. I truly hate wasting my time even though there are times as the writer and even the artist a slow thoughtful pace is necessary. Then its a mixed bag. Still cannot like it, as long as I don’t get caught up in that single thought, I will be ok. Getting caught up in thought certainly wastes time if its not productive thought. Love and best wishes!
