A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

This is a photo I changed via an app on my phone. I like what the phone editing app did so plan to use it as a reference. The first girl looking in the mirror is my granddaughter. The style is called Cubin style. I need some oil paints lol!
~Thoughts, more thoughts!
Now I am onto reality. So, one asks, “What is reality?” I see it as something we believe to be true. Therefore, we have this truest reality we use as a foundation for what we believe to be true. We collect this information in our filing cabinet brains. The information is gathered through what we sense.
As we communicate with one another it is hearing and seeing usually, unless it is via the phone or text. Then it is reading and processing thoughts and feelings in this manner. But this is a part of gathering facts so to speak for our realities. Realities then depend on communication of some kind.
Realities are also visual things, such as experiencing one’s home or a favorite place to be. That sort of reality is stored in memory as is what we hear, touch/feel, smell. Short term memory becomes long term memory and there we are the big filing cabinet we call our mind or brain. These words seem interchangeable. But in my way of thinking the brain houses the mind.
Albert Hoffman said, ” What one commonly takes as “the reality”, including the reality of my own individual person, by no means signifies something fixed, but rather something that is ambiguous____ that there is not only one, but that there are many realities, each comprising also a different consciousness of the ego.” This is what makes the ego we humans have so very complex. Keeping track of feelings often has us stacking up the pros and cons about what we believe our truest reality is. And there we are.
The thing we tend to forget is that we are not the only ones to have a reality. Realities have commonality, this is referred to as having like-mindedness. Sometimes we are lumped into kinds such as female and male realities. That because we are male or female, we identify with each other better. I argue that if we communicated, felt there was trust, respect and belief in the other sex, could we not be on the same page. It can be done I had that kind of experience, and it was great! My point is that if we know how we feel, we need to remember others may feel the same or similar. We are more alike than differing in many ways.
Best wishes! Pejj Nunes
