I have focused on the studio. I am coming to the end of having it like I need it to be. So. excited to be nearly there! I like a degree of order.

~Thoughts of the day.~

I have been thinking of connections, and it seems I have not paid close enough attention for some time because I am finding the topic is coming up everywhere! People are speaking of their connections with each other, their pets, the earth and all of its inhabitants! That is heartwarming!

Now to put my thoughts about all those responses together. I was not fishing, individuals were simply commenting about their lives or interacting.

It seems to be the act of being present with other living beings and other life forms such as plants, trees, animals, etc. I think of how people respond to their pets and one another.

I think of energy I feel and auras. I think of feeling one an others presence when we stand close to someone. I think of when I am on the same wavelength with someone else. For example, when I am thinking of someone and they call me.

~ In the studio~

I have begun the process of setting out the projects I will be working on. The collaboration with two other artists. I have discovered sketches and drawings that work well for the project. These are now grouped with new thumbnails/ideas.

I sorted out the materials I want to use. Starting with charcoal and newsprint. An old sheet to protect the floor. Or simply working on these outside. I am leaning to watercolor, and some oils I discovered. I also found several new “linos”, and the printmaking tools, ask well as ink. Have a lot of the newsprint so I am good there. The press bed waiting to be used! I have some thick felt pads that I can cut down to size. It looks like some fun is ahead of me!
