Good morning sunshine!

By

Sometimes there are seats provided by nature, where you can simply stop the world. This day the light hits the back of the tree and leaves a patch of golden sunlight on top of the rock like a mat upon which to sit. The top of the rock is gray rock normally. The sun resting on it like this was why I took the shot! The only clue for possibility is the sun on the back of the tree.

Sitting, being one with the self, outside is an excellent way to go! It seems we forget the pleasures of childhood. A rock like this would be the first place I would head for as a kid with a book in my hand, a pillow too if I thought that far ahead. I recall the coldness of rocks, and a dampness. I felt I needed to be careful not to scrape of any moss, after all it likely took a long time to grow there! What made the moss grow where it did? This I would study to see how it was attached. How amazing the world is if we but look!

Yesterday I saw a young ground hog, a female, I think. Small, instead of being nearly all brown this one had light tan through her fur, and around her face. She seemed different in that coloring than ones I have seen. It was very pretty! I wondered at how different these little creatures might be. Of course, we don’t get to group up several and know how they vary.

Then, there are all these birds that sit in the tree, a large cat of some neighbor. I can saw these things out the back door window of my new home. The image is from out back of my Rhode Island cottage. Its back to Maine now, and off to a new start!

I love my mornings with coffee here. It’s fun to claim my new space, do art and write.

It’s nice to just figure out what I want life to become. Best wishes! May love and laughter find you. Keeping this simple this time. Know I think of you all who read my blogs. Thank you!
