There have been many pivotal moments since that first moment. That moment was my realizing that I could affect what I think (thoughts) ____, that I did not have to run with all of my thoughts, replaying them over and over in my head. Nor did I have to understand all of them. That’s a lot of work! It leaves no room for living life when all you do is stack up the pros and cons of your experiences. The predicts what it thinks we want. I don’t want to live with all the thoughts that come my way. It is a matter of replacing old thoughts with new thoughts. That is how you move forward pushing all thoughts back deeper in that filing cabinet of a brain we have. It is the mind that files away what we felt was important, what was not important, and what others think of who we are. These are some of the things we file away. The experience may have taught us something. Experience is from our past, it’s not the present. The present is where we can change things up. When I jelled these thoughts, I became much happier!
