It is always fun to learn about other people, so thought I would share some things about me. The following is an interview with Diane Atwood. Diane worked for a local tv station in Maine for many years. Many of her articles are about people who are older and who have done some very interesting things. The blog tells you about Shibui too.

It happens to be 5:22. Not Morning! More like Good Evening! But anyway! I am here to jot some thoughts down and begin a blog.
Once I got my eyes open with “Coffee to my right!” I worked on my children’s book project. I am at the beginning stages of the story. The main characters are magical as they are wizards, sorcerers, magically created creatures. Richard and Saraphina are actually a King and Queen, Poldara is their daughter. Poldara created a magical companion Freshman year of high school. Her name is Ruby Luna, and Ruby is a hippogryph. The story is heading them off to colleges of their own. However, this means being separated and independent from one another after four years of constant closeness. This is a problem to be overcome, as is the fact that Ruby Luna wants to know who she really is. She had understood herself to be a magically created companion like the other companions. But this is not true because she is a real hippogryph. She too is a princess, meaning her parents are a king and Queen hippogryph. Ruby will go to college and be prepared to go to Bell Flower Mountain. There is much to learn. Ruby and Poldara learn they were destined to fulfill a great prophecy where they will work towards saving a world from destruction. They will need to understand about Portals and learn languages as well as royal protocol.
Building stories takes time. It is fun! I have images of my characters as well, so they truly come to life! I have not put them up in my new studio as I have walls to paint first.
I am working on a Boho theme for my little cottage. This too is fun! I purchased a new computer. It’s a ProArt Asus with a BeeLink modem. At least that is how I can explain it. It is a set up for creative people so say the videos. Time will tell. It is also for photography and gaming. I play WOW sometimes. Have Aion. This was when my husband was alive. Aion proved a lot of fun at that time. It turns out there are a lot of over 50s who are gamers! At least we met a number of them. I admit it was the graphics that sucked me in. And not having such games as a teenager. Besides it proved fun, walking in a created landscape is something else.
I am enjoying this new stage of life. I am a full time Grammy now. My children did not live nearby. Two do not still and because of my move me and my oldest daughter are further away. I was in the middle before for them to travel to my home. 2 1/2 hours up to the middle and youngest child, 3 hours down to another state to see the one I live next door to now!
My heart is especially warmed by my eldest daughters two youngest kids. Emma and Oliver. I watched them as babies while Mom earned her L P N. So, there is a bond, the kind I missed, from when my kids were babies. A little story about Ollie is that he had overheard me say, “After Thomas died, I promised myself I would change life up and one thing I plan to do is get outdoors!” He said he was eaves dropping and heard me say this! So now he gets me to come go on an adventure outside every day after school and on the weekends. And now I don’t have Grampy Thomas to cuddle with at night he can take his place. So, he insists on staying over on the weekend! Just before he drops off to sleep, I hear things like love you! And your special. I think he is! Emma and I talk about writing and reading books, and about our magical back yard!
Best wishes! Pejj Nunes
