Good morning sunshine! It’s a busy morning, coffees at the right. More getting things set up. Leveling ground for a swimming pool. Jacobie and Bri are getting tattoos today. Daniel and Alex are starting up a carpentry business. It’s great to see this happen. Before they did not live close by each other.

I am taking time off from several things I normally do, so to help this transition into a second home. A summer home. It will allow us to see our family, and this is wonderful. I may have said some of these things already.

My great granddaughter is distracting with her play, wants and needs. I am left happily busy, as well as longing for self-time. LOL. I am reminded of my own mothering days. Being a Great Grammie and watching Jo in her Grammie role is fun too. It’s fun and interesting to observe your adult children. You learn you did not do so bad after all. You observe them making their own choices. There is room to be supportive and live your life, as they too work through their own lives. I can see the richness blossoming of our lives. We have longed for this forever, years. We are Mainers it seems.
