Good morning! A sunny day! Coffee___ It’s a good start! May love and laughter find you!

It’s bright and very green outside my house! It would be a terrible thing to dislike the color green. The noticeable difference in green is where the sun hits the leaves, shadows make a darker version of green. Yet there must be more than 2 to 3 shades of green there. I keep thinking if I stare at it long enough, I will see more. Greem, gray, darker gray, some brown and what seems black. Bits of yellow on the lawn. Buttercups, I think. There is pale green lichen on the trees. The male cardinal came, the red and black of his face, his feathers standing out, _____I am still surprised to see the coffee-colored feathers. His sweet mate is light colored and very pretty. She does have red in her feathers, but she is light and creamy colored as well as this rich coffee colored brown.

Mr. Chee-Chee and Mr. Peep have not come yet with their lady birds. Mr. Chee-Chee is a red bellied woodpecker, and Mr. Peep is a downy woodpecker. Both are very striking birds. I love the exchanges I have with them, making their sounds back to them.

It’s to think about what’s happening in the world today. It’s with a heavy heart I begin the day. A lot of things feel uncertain. Now to draw what is good in my day, to me.
