Title: Edge of the woods, by Pejj Nunes (Note at bottom of blog.)
The sun shines brightly in through the sliders, the shadow of trees dance back and forth. The decks lattice work leaves its crisscross pattern across crusted snow, now frozen in place by cold. The rain did not take it all away. My small feather friends have more seeded suet to eat. They hop about taking turns. The coffee is at the ready!
I enjoyed myself in the studio yesterday. I finished____ unless there is a small tweak still____ three oil pastels. “Into the fields, Driveway, and Edge of the woods.” Now to continue with others. It would be great to put a show together and make some sales. It’s been a while! It seems I recaptured the artist in me for sure. And that feels good. The Shibuiest, she is different. So is the printmaker. The writer and poet. Hats! We take them off and put them on. I am GOOD! It is wonderful to simply feel good. I wish that could be true for everyone!
Mom, Jacobie and Emma are taking a week off together to go to Maine. Ollie gets car sick. So, he and I will make our own plans here. I will need to come up with something special for us to do. It would be nice to teach him some art. I will have to learn what he is up for.
Best wishes to all! Pejj Nunes
I do not give permission to use my any of my art unless requested.
