Hello! May love, and laughter find you! May goodness fill your heart! May you think about things from your heart and higher self, so that you’re not in your head rattling around things that create stress, anxiety and hurt or anger. It works much better that way!
Coffee at the ready!
I am thinking of how we connect with one another. Currently, I am creating art that will symbolize how we connect with one another and with the world itself. This includes all the things we interact with, the things we love. I love nature and have promised myself to get out in it. I am getting out. I admit winter has me inside more than going on a walk or sitting somewhere nice to think or sketch. Spring is here! Flowers are coming up!
Back to thoughts about connections. What are these connections? Connections involve feelings, in fact all of our senses. They involve our belief systems. They are also consist of energy. It is possible to feel this energy. Energy work can help you be aware of your own energy. You can also become aware of being sensed by other things, people included. Recall someone stepping up behind you, and you sensed them there.
I recall being more aware of the energy of natural things as a child. Trees seemed to speak, as well as the earth around me. I saw plants move when there was no wind and wondered why or how. I felt it was a greeting, a welcome. This is what came to my mind as if I were spoken to. I loved all I saw. I loved the warmth of the sun, and the blue skies. I would look at the soil to see what was hidden in the grass around me. It’s a whole world down there. I discovered tiny red spiders this way. It felt like I should not walk on the lawn least I kill them. LOL, however, you get past that. And hope that they somehow don’t get crushed. This is how kids think. By digging hole to China I discovered roots! White ones that looked like carrots. Skinny fine ones. I would replant these. I would call this being conscious now.
A child observes connections as people communicate and share the same space. Having a connection is talked about. Not in an exploratory way in which to define it and generate awareness of it. Connections are felt, and commented about it when people are hurt, or when someone dies, or when someone is thought of. He or perhaps she___ is or was___ a soulmate. People are missed. A connection is broken somehow or remembered. “I felt close to my grandfather.” “There is nothing like having a child to hold and love.” The day which had significance such as a wedding day, funeral, divorce, something happy such as a holiday or something tragic where someone has died. These have to do with connections.
People need other people, and it’s the same with the pets we come to love. The love of outdoor is loving the earth.
Connections get broken and this is painful. Moving away is hard. And the hardness needs to be processed, and boundaries set. It is a time to pivot towards new connections when old connections can not work anymore.
The mind is where we think, that is obvious. It does more than that it responds to all our senses. And there we are feeling as the body reacts chemically, electrically and that memory is established in case we need it later. We can change this up by being in our hearts and higher self. Meditations works to change those chemical and electrical messages. To understand this thought in another way; the longer we stay mad, hurt, angry there are messages which acknowledge that response in our bodies. And it is the same if we feel love and happiness, peace of mind. These affect how we connect and these affect our health and well-being. This is why it is important to know you can affect what you think about. It is a matter of pushing past that which will block feeling good about yourself and your life. People who adversely affect us are unthinking. Meaning most often they do not think of the affects they make on someone else. Not fully. But what they do think they are accountable for. We are accountable for the connections we create. Walking away, stopping connections without saying something affects those involved. It is a choice. And so, we find a way to live with choices made. To be healthy minded, it can’t be forever.
