Revenue stream goals for 2024: (1) The creation of 12 pastel still life’s. Below is one example of my work so far. The plan is to create and pick from the best when 12 or more are completed. (2) other revenue stream goals will be paintings in one or more of the following mediums: oil, watercolor or gouache. It’s been a while as my focus has been on Shibui Found Image Art. A pivot is a good thing as I write about Shibui. I am loving Paul Rembrandt pastels. The colors are amazing.

It’s been since 1994 that I have had fun with the pastels. I began Shibui 2011. A lot happened after that. I have my new home in my cottage studio and just now feel I am underway! A new easel awaits me! Varooooom! Or perhaps its “Let’s move it! Move it! Move it! More like that! I love claiming my Boho cottage studio!

Good Morning Sunshine!

Feeling like “Ya! I got this! Even though it’s not yet a done deal. The point being I have begun the process to accomplish my new goals! That makes me feel good. Now to wait to learn if things can work for me to get my own home.

Making steps to learn if something is possible is positive. It doesn’t make things possible to guess if things can or may not work, “I don’t see how I can!” But not know for sure. Talking with other people can clarify and bring different ideas to the surface that do help change one’s reality. Time will tell if this can work for me. Or how much of it can work for me.

I am having success learning the oil pastels. Now to look at improving what I know about composition for the best possible image. It’s been years since I did anything other than Shibui Found Image Art, and its approach is unique to what it is. So, its sketch, sketch, sketch! Paint, paint, paint! Love it! And writing and putting a slide show about Shibui together at this point in time. I am working again! YAYYYYYY! Moving creates such a limbo land.

Best wishes! Pejj
