Today the deck is covered by snow, the birds have their seeded suet. I enjoy those who come. There are not as many as in the past year, as I have not purchased bags of seeds along with the seeded suet. My little friends, the woodpeckers are still coming.

I have my coffee to the left of me, and when the toast is done that as well. I am enjoying the quietness of the morning.

“Sunday, all day long!” Gram would say, as if a Sunday would stay and not go away. As if the hours remaining in that Sunday mattered most. Sundays were a day when family got together, called one another and checked in. This was the day everyone prepared for the week ahead. It was considered a day of rest and peace. At least this was the case for many. My family like others had their version, something like this. Getting ready for the week began on Saturday so Sunday was freer. I do not know where this saying came into my family. It was changed according to the day of the week. “Wednesday! All day long!

A day for family. This is what I should do, go check out my daughter Jacobie and see if I can help her somehow. I will only tend to write the manual or something, then be there for a long period of time.

Go over and love this little one up! Dogs are wonderful greeters. Love me, love me, love me and I will be good! Kali is a happy little Harlequin French Bull Dog. Full of energy! Has the zoomies most days!
