IT IS OFFICIAL! I am now an activities leader at a nursing home near where I live! A lovely building, an very ethical standards for everyone who works there! I am going to love it. My daughter works there and she loves it! She has been there over a year.
My life will fall into a new routine now. Pleased with that potential, work and then art or writing. Grand kids and family. Life feels good.
now that I am working g in a nursing home I am fully struck by what can happen as we age. I think too that to be an activities leader is a good fit. I love helping these individuals have better days. It’s very important to move, as they can and to be stimulated by something interesting. Training has given me new understanding. My heart goes out to these folks. And I find a lot of respect for their caregivers..
