Shibui Found Image Art: (Title) “The Wild Side of Things!”
As of today, there is an eighteen-page draft for the Shibui Manual. Now to go over this and read it carefully for what’s written. Look for repeated thought and the order in which things are presented. Note taking likely. Once I do this, then that section can be set aside.
It is hot and humid here. May cooler days come. The dampness is something else, when you go to get your clothes and they feel damp. I am running the dehumidifier.
Today’s thoughts from Joyce Hifler’s book, Pathways: “Oh, to be glad again___ not just glad for some reason, some state of affair___ but glad, just to be glad for reasons of existence____ for a chance to look ahead and plan for ways to make life better and happier and freer. it is said to be glad is the harvest of the quiet eye___ the not looking long distance for happiness, but to feel it within___ where we refuse to let trifles ruin the brief moments of peace and contentment___ until being glad becomes a habit and so underlies our daily activities that we are free of aches and pains and happiness.
It seems wherever I open this book that what I open up to is always fitting. I am pleased to have gladness.
Currently I am being anxious as I need my old doctor to refill a script one last time. I must get a new doctor here in this state. Another thing off the list. The car registration, and having the car fixed is happening now. It needs a battery and tune up, and there I am. I am glad that this to-do list is not to long. The reason I mention this is that in paying attention to the body, this is a fine example (being anxious) of how quick the mind is to send out the message of alarm. It starts with one question. “Will they do it one last time? And if they don’t?” I know there is another way to get this done already. It’s the waiting that maintains the anxiety. I want to get past this. On with the day!
One of my small successes was connecting the printer to the computer. Its not that hard. It’s the fact I got it done. I like the just do it concept, it works!

Shibui Found Image Art: Title: Blueberries and Orbs.
You can play with what’s in a foundation. This is like a snapshot of a very busy place. It works because it’s a Shibui, otherwise it is too busy. It’s an image like you find in “Where’s Waldo”. Traveling into it is fun. I found things and turned them into what they told me they were.
Best wishes! Pejj

One response to “Good Morning Sunshine!”
That’s a cool image. And I agree with the excerpt from the book, I think being positive and grateful needs to become a habit.
