Today’s guest. He I think tries hard to get tge attention he wants. Always outside my door, making his plans for the day.
I am moving into chapter 2 of Stehen Harrod Buhner’s book. Plant Inteligence and the Imagional Realm. The follow quoted words are intriguing, thoughtful and inspiring, as well there are many applicable thought.
“First you must learn to see.” Barbara McClintock. Seeing with a freshness that will revive you. This is what she means, and seeing things in new ways. We should ask “What more is there about these things I see? What is their function? What purpose is there?” If we stop to truly think beyond projections or assumptions all things truly come to life in new ways. Living things no matter what it is have both perception and consciousness.
“Listening means learning to hear.” Robert Wise. Indeed he sounds wise with this tidbit. Stopping and really listening. This is a marvelous practice. Take the time to feel what you hear. There is an intimate energy to truly listening and feelin sound. There is a gentle rhythm like a heartbeat.
“Music is feeling, then, not sound.” Wallace Steven’s. So it is with the music of nature.
“There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.
May your days be full of love and laughter! Best wishes! Pej
