Working a simple vase in blue/ blue purple as an exercise. Practicing blending layers with colored pencil. Need to get those shadows darker so they work yet still cast blue. So far.
I will get there. I woke up to creating dappled sunlight. Just an area wthe rays coming d own. I was debating the colors to get the image just right.
Today I shall begin with tge above image and the work on a oil pastel.
Niw to work the next layer. Work in the sunlight coming through. Perhaps this is why I dreamed of dappled light.
Having fun with the Red Bellied Woodpecker. He is loving the peanuts and strawberries and blueberries. He comes and calls out a repeating Cha, cha, cha. I mimicked him and got wobbly trill in return! He will come up to the sliding doors and peer in.
