There may be some minor tweaks before this feels done. It’s time to set it aside and study it later. It’s been 20 plus years since I have used oil pastels. So right now, I am ‘playing” with the colors and thinking about perspective and composition. Getting comfortable with a medium takes a little while. Watching other artists is enlightening. Underpainting with alcohol is a new idea. I was not aware of some techniques, and there are new tools. So time will tell, in the mean time I will have some fun.
