Emma’s reading tree. It’s decorated with whirls gigs and bling. Easy to climb and sit upon for one nine year old. We will need to add more things now that spring is here.
today the Red Bellied Woodpecker landed on the railing and had a lot to say as he bobbed his head right then left as if pleased by all the seed and fresh water. I have taken to throwing unshelled peanuts over the side onto the ground for whomever likes them. The fruit and nut mix seed has them already shelled. Some of the birds like the smaller seed so one glass full on the right, and fruit and nut left. And as for the chipmunk….he has a field day. I thi k the bunny is clean up crew at night. The cow birds make blip, blip noises.
Coffe waters heating, the carafe ready, so time to grind the coffee…I remembered to make sure the cover was iff the little container which recieves the delicious grounds. A mistake that makes a mess as grou ds back up and do t flow. The coffee was spooned in, 4 for good coffee….then boiling water added, a stir and the plunger screen pushes grounds down…now to pour into a favorite cup, add cream…ready to roll!. I hate coffee that taste like dish water as was said by my aunts and mother years ago. I too want coffee that taste like it should!
Well! It seems like I have made all my feThered friends quite happy! Four of them have already sung out loudly pretty songs. The last one the Cowbird, it was like he was mocking the Bluejays sound. They are quite interesting. I counted 6 .
I came back into the studio at 8:15 after getting kids on the bus. Lots of hugs from Oliver. A great way to start the day! Today it’s the blog, the Journaling, and reading about composition of paintings. Then I will know how to compare it to the process of working a Shibui Found Image Arts foundation. Later I shall work a oil pastel painting using a palette knife. 🎨 I have two compositions in mind.
Best wishes to all! Have a great day! Pejj
