Revenue stream goals for 2024: (1) The creation of 12 pastel still life’s. Below is one example of my work so far. The plan is to create and pick from the best when 12 or more are completed. (2) other revenue stream goals will be paintings in one or more of the following mediums: oil, watercolor or gouache. It’s been a while as my focus has been on Shibui Found Image Art. A pivot is a good thing as I write about Shibui. I am loving Paul Rembrandt pastels. The colors are amazing.

It’s been since 1994 that I have had fun with the pastels. I began Shibui 2011. A lot happened after that. I have my new home in my cottage studio and just now feel I am underway! A new easel awaits me! Varooooom! Or perhaps its “Let’s move it! Move it! Move it! More like that! I love claiming my Boho cottage studio!

Good Morning Sunshine!

Why is it I never noticed the yellow blooms before? I am pleased at this discovery.

The kids getting off the bus, and these same shrubs. Note that this truck will be leaving as it caught on fire. Not evident here. A new van has replaced it. Dave builds houses so a running vehicle is vital. Dave is my son in law. Both he and “mom” my daughter Jacobie, rise early and are off. I start the day by getting kids on the bus, and off they come 8 hours later. That means 8 hours studio time. I do after school snacks, Dave and Jo come home, and so my evening happens. This gives my day rhythm. Flow….if you will. Having a constant pattern is important I think. In the mix is Journaling. Then the blog, a kind of continuation of the Journaling. I am a creature of habit so it seems after all? It is with stubborn purposefulness however that I change my routines. My belief is that life needs to be interesting. Yes, there are the things we need to do but after that! Changing things is ideal. And to move my too sad sedate butt. It’s this self argument where one needs stop the self talk and just just do it! Nothing moves forward if all you fo is think.

Best wishes! Pejj
