My bird friends have come and gone. But they always come back! There are 4 to 12 of these Mourning Doves who come. 4 or 5 sometimes. I purchased peanuts for the birds. Seems I should shell them, unshelled was not popular. However, today the Red Bellied Woodpecker returned for 3! The Titmouse also took 3. The cardinal 1 or 2. A Hay came prior to putting them out. I hear him but he has not come. Ready for them with their seed and water. More sunflower seeds should be here soon. They love these. And so does the turkey. I put some peanuts on the ground. The night time clean up crew? I think a bunny. He or she makes off with the suet if I do not bring it in. The bunny is a bit skittish for day time ventures as that lady moves! Off I go! The Cowbirds are interesting, they make a blip, blip noise. What ever it means, it seems to be good commentary. The chipmunk should like the peanuts too. Just a little feller. His cheeks get packed full. I wonder where he stores it, or how they do. There has been a Downy Woodpecker.
