I could not help setting up a still life of tge Daffodils and Tulips. A surprise as this our first spring at our new home. I am loving all the birds which come to my deck. The cow birds have grown in number from 4 to 6. I purchased peanuts for them. So far the titmouse, woodpecker have found these and have happily taken off with their prize.

I have my morning coffee. So glad to have gone organic. Years now.

I am reading a wonderful book for artist, it’s the 7th edition of Composition of Outdoor Painting by Edgar A Payne. An excellent book for remembering technique and more. It’s been a while since I have done art in a mote traditional way. Shibui Found Image Art is very different as you do not do a predrawn understructure.

I have also purchased 4 or five boxed of oil pastels and 2 of chalk plus a set of chalk pastel pencils, along with pressed charcoal, black and white charcoal. Newsprint, pastel papers of different sizes. Sounds like a commitment to me! It feels good and exciting!

I have bought what I need to draw as well. And a new camera.
