So, what’s the agenda today? Well, the sun is out at the moment, but there is promise of a big snowstorm coming with 7 to 13 inches of snow on Tuesday. I will move my car, so it won’t be in the way. This is where I am glad, I won’t be out in it. I get to sit back and admire the after affect, of its beauty. The grandkids will love it. I am reminded of watching my parents do their daily routine, we all have one. Mine is different now, but that is working for me. The quiet of the morning today is filled by music from the 1960s.

Coffee is in its place on the right. I did the budget, now a break before I get mail ready to be sent.

Over the weekend I created two small pastels for my daughters Valintine’s Day gift. The pastel paintings are of yellow flowers, I worked the leaves with purples and blues. There is a third one to work on later today.

I am thinking of more things I wish to unlearn. One is to not spend a life inside my home! And hardly get out! This is different from the bullshit dysfunctional stuff that involves other people. This is the things I personally do not want to do anymore. Such as just work in the studio.

I realize I must move! And get out into the world, not just be happy as a clam with self. There is no more Thomas to be happy as a clam with. This and we really need to experience the world around us, and we need to experience other people. I want to be more outgoing. Being by yourself, where’s the point, you need people to be outgoing, and do things with them. So, now I am! I have grandkids handy now too. I have moved and so learning about where I live is something I can do too!

Thomas and I were happy just doing our things. But when a spouse dies or your divorce, it’s not good to be sedentary.

I want to simply enjoy being outside as well. So, its walking. I bought hiking sticks; my grandson loves this! I have lost one stick. And I purchased a really good camera, and art supplies! Now, to use them. Feeling very good about myself. All that is left is to do it more and more.

I love nature. The plan for the summer will be to rent a camp.
