A walk in the woods with Oliver Thomas. This is turning out to be a lot of fun!
I had said to myself, and then within Ollie’s earshot that I wanted to get out of the house more! LOL Ollie is seeing I do! Perfectly. I am doing what I might not do otherwise. I enjoy walking with other people, it used to be Thomas. I can’t help but think of him, and the Rangely Public Lands Camp as I see the boulders around our new home.
I love all the boulders on the property. Then you realize how old they are, then think, how long have they been like that? All that time ago, they have sat there because some huge glacier left them there, just hanging out as they are, Trees growing up around them. How many have grown, decayed feeding the earth for a new generation?
I love to find surprises under the leaves and see the moss growing. Moss is something else I love to look at.

I used to find patches of moss to sit near or upon it when I was a kid, until I wondered who I was hurting by sitting on it or if I should walk on it. After that I would go around it. LOL

I love how the moss is reaching forth to take over this rock. When you think about everything has a consciousness to thrive. It’s amazing!

So much microscopic life! And under the soil. What an amazing world it is!
Best wishes! Pejj
