Revenue stream goals for 2024: (1) The creation of 12 pastel still life’s. Below is one example of my work so far. The plan is to create and pick from the best when 12 or more are completed. (2) other revenue stream goals will be paintings in one or more of the following mediums: oil, watercolor or gouache. It’s been a while as my focus has been on Shibui Found Image Art. A pivot is a good thing as I write about Shibui. I am loving Paul Rembrandt pastels. The colors are amazing.

It’s been since 1994 that I have had fun with the pastels. I began Shibui 2011. A lot happened after that. I have my new home in my cottage studio and just now feel I am underway! A new easel awaits me! Varooooom! Or perhaps its “Let’s move it! Move it! Move it! More like that! I love claiming my Boho cottage studio!

This Shibui Found Image Art, has a home. It was fun. I love creating images within images. The found image simply look like a fish to me, a mechanical one.

Today was a very good workday. I accomplished about 20 pages of a draft for a writing project. Discovered more info with some new research that I can use. Finished 5 little mini-ink paintings. The next comment may sound odd or funny, perhaps____, but to someone who has issues with pens for the same reason____, blurting it out fast now! “After about 6 pages of the draft I adjusted to the pen I was using!” I stopped thinking, “I hate this pen!”

If it’s been a long, long time___. Well, there you are. However, it is necessary to write with a pen, let the words flow, no erasing them. Just write!

Then, you have the first draft with all your ideas spilled, no matter what they are.

Many drafts can follow this first draft. so not good to hate the pen. Writing with the computer means polishing it up for most writers, polish as you go, and you end up missing good ideas. Anyway! It was a good day!

Best wishes! Pejj Nunes
