6:30 a.m. is too early to have Shit happen!

I really don’t know quite how to begin, but if this is a sign of how the day will go, I should go back to bed!

I have not had coffee that’s coming! So, I can’t laugh at this yet. I am not sure it is worth sharing.

The thing was I set the alarm to get up before my groceries would arrive, time frame as early as 6:30 am until 8:30 am.

I climbed out before 6:25 when the alarm was to go off. I get the usual message on the phone to get ready for my order, it will come shortly. I look out noting the darkness and sure enough there is a vehicle in the yard, that is sitting there, it takes a bit as they gather foods to bring in, usually they do come close, but I thought my daughter’s truck is in the way of coming closer, its dark and so were the vehicles, but then the vehicle just drives away! I am not sure if my mouth dropped open but definitely feeling WTF? Then I assume who ever this person is new and left it on my daughters’ porch. They have never done that before, and the instructions are clear where to find me! SO, this was upsetting! I try to catch “that person” by a number I manage to find for Stop n Shop. The phone is busy. I find another place I can leave a text. I think a lot about how it’s dark and raining heavily. Everyone is asleep next door! The route I could take to get my groceries, the fact I am only supposed to lug 5 to 10 pounds____ and it’s the fact that if I do not want to get so badly soaked it would mean going straight across then up through the house. DO I want to do that? NO! I would not want to wake up to someone going through the house while I am in bed. I do not want to go out around and up the porch steps in the dark with no light on.

I found a chat I could leave a message on. Not a nice one but nice enough. I explained I was standing there facing the driver. See the problem? Well! The kicker is about 7:00 I went to the door to see if it was light out, I would have to get wet and get what needed to be put in the freezer at least by going down around and in, trying to be quiet. it is at that time.

What do I see? The Stop and Shop Grocery delivery truck!

The Stop N Shop driver and I talk, I had to say something to someone. We concluded it was an Amazon delivery. If not, I have no clue. Hope nothing is missing from Daves truck. It was a dark truck or van. Dave is a carpenter and has a lot of stuff out in his truck, ready to go!

I need that coffee now! Part of my problem was I had to boxes of ice cream in the order. I could just imagine it melting. I chose the time frame for $3.00 off. I don’t think I will pick this time frame again. LOL I think I can see the humor in this just a bit. Still too early. I could have slept in. It was a shock.
