Working on a Shibui Found Image Art.
Finding the story within art.
This is me working a Shibui. It has become a favorite of mine. As I worked my way around it I found all these characters! The image consists of chaotic merging of these characters. The image is focused on the moment where much is happening, a snapshot in time. One I created. I did not plan it, I found it! I simply brought it to life according to what my mind responded to. This process is such fun! The following image is what I found. I can see recreating these characters for a children’s story they are so inspiring!

I think there is a story in all art. The story is about what something is or is about. What we see has familiarity, better yet commonality with others, such as the viewers of our art forms.
I do other forms of art, not just Shibui Found Image Art. You can see both Shibui, pastels and sculpture on my website at Pejj Nunes – Portfolio of Works (anisettestudios.com) Note I am currently updating my site, forgive me for the moment. I am just sorting the business end of things out now. It feels very good to have a working studio again. Not up to snuff but it will be. It is amazing the flaws you find when you return to a Websight. It is comforting to know you’re not alone with the experience. What’s important is sticking with it and keep working it.
My patrons see Shibui as an original art form. Shibui is different in its process. I deeply appreciate all of them!
Best wishes! Pejj Nunes
