From Muddy Brook Studio 1/10/2024

I slept in late today. Now, coffee is on the right! All set! We had snow yesterday and last night’s driving rains too it all away. All of it gone!
A warning came over my phone. There is a town somewhere in RI that has to evacuate. Now I am curious as to where this town is! Something due to an incidence at a dam. Hope people are ok. I think of the scamble evacuations must be! Not the norm. Ah! Found it, Norwich, Connecticut. a partial dam break on the Yantic River north at Bean Hill Substation; flash flood warnings. The evacuation map does include maps for nearby towns, and one being East Greenwich. I live in West Greenwich. Hmmmmmm. It is 15 minutes to Connecticut from my home. But have no idea where the town of Bozrah is. Well, if there are more warning an alarm will occur again. So, they are concerned with the dam breaking. Power outages, no school, etc for that area. The rain and wind from last night the cause. It was pretty bad sounding.
Well, this was the start of my day. No birds feeding at the moment. Have some cello music playing. Now to become more Zen full.
I was pleased with getting things into this computer yesterday. I worked to update my FASO website. It had been some time! I had accumulated. 124,386 emails. Just one email. Have no clue about the second email. Mostly comments from the blog. It seems if you subscribe to someone you accumulate emails. I think I have discovered how to prevent this in settings.
Somehow, I think of such a blog as sharing a window of time with others. It is contemplation. I have run across this and enjoyed it. There is a certain curiosity about what others lives are like. Is someone having a similar experience? What are others doing as they have their morning coffee and begin their day. Do they have to jump out of bed and go to a job or do they work in their own homes? If they do then, the job does not go away no matter when you begin it. If you want a revenue stream work must be done. Retirement, that is different, but a day is planned out. Well, enough of these ponderings.
Best wishes, time to dress for the day and do some research which means reading today. The coffee can come along, may go for a second cup.

Some beauty for the day. Pejj
